Oldies Are Still Goodies

Remember, newer and more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better!

 

The Encyclopedia of Solar Inventions features over 4000 Earth powered, (Geothermal), devices,Solar Energy Devices, Water Powered devices and Wind Powered devices, including a few that obviously won't work. We put them there just to give you a smile. All of these devices range in age from the late 80's all the way back to the 1700's. Those that ever worked, always will.

 

This Encyclopedia's contents were individually hand selected out of the million plus devices in existence. A sampling, if you will. To have something for everyone was the goal as we compiled this Encyclopedia for you.

 

In the end, your opinion of this Encyclopedia is the only one that matters. We expose plenty of things most people could have used for a long time. I have no idea why they did not.  We still have only the same sun, earth, water, and wind to work with that we have always had!  Why wouldn't they still work? 

 

For example, Hand powered food grinders were invented over a century ago and they still work and still deliver the same quality ground food as the electricly powered ones but use people power to do the work. If you are willing to spend the time and physical energy it takes you are free to make your own flour, etc. It appears that most people today would choose the machine or the grocers. Ahhh, labor saving devices. This Encyclopedia is loaded with them.
